Accessibility Policy
Accessibility is part of TL Advisory’s governance framework and a reflection of our commitment to clarity, trust, and responsible design.
(Last updated October 2025)
1. Purpose of This Policy
TL Advisory (“we,” “us,” or “our”) integrates accessibility as a standard of governance and public trust.
Accessibility is not a courtesy or design choice; it is a reflection of institutional integrity and accountability. This policy affirms our commitment to creating communications and digital experiences that are inclusive, usable, and equitable for all visitors and readers.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all TL Advisory communications and platforms, including our website, newsletters, publications, and visual media distributed through Squarespace, ConvertKit, LinkedIn, and affiliated systems.
3. Our Standards
We design and maintain content in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA and Section 508 principles. These standards ensure that every digital interaction is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
4. Our Commitments
We implement accessibility through intentional design and consistent practice:
• All images include clear, neutral alternative text.
• Typography (Inter and Cormorant Garamond) is selected for legibility and tested for contrast.
• Color palettes meet or exceed WCAG contrast ratios; color alone never conveys meaning.
• Video and audio materials include accurate captions or written transcripts.
• Key publications and announcements include plain-language summaries.
• Documents are tagged for screen-reader compatibility, with alternate formats (DOCX or TXT) available on request.
• Imagery reflects diversity across ability, sector, and community context without tokenism.
5. Ongoing Review
Accessibility is a continuous process of learning and adjustment. We conduct periodic reviews of public materials and update this policy as standards evolve. All contributors receive an accessibility orientation during onboarding or project initiation.
6. Feedback and Support
We welcome feedback regarding the accessibility of TL Advisory’s materials.
If you experience a barrier or require content in another format, please contact governance@tladvisory.co.
We respond within five (5) business days and will work to provide the requested information or assistance.
7. Third-Party Content
While TL Advisory cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content or linked resources, we encourage all partners and vendors to uphold comparable standards of accessibility and equity.
8. Review Cycle
This policy is reviewed annually as part of TL Advisory’s governance cycle and updated as new technologies and community guidance emerge.
